Last night the Dining Out Group ate at DK David’s Kitchen. The restaurant is quite a way out of town and is located at 90/9 Moo 3, Sanpisuea Road, Sanpisuea, Chiang Mai. It is situated in beautiful grounds close to the Ping river.
The place is not cheap but David made a lower cost set menu available.
We were full of expectations. Although only open a few months, it has received rave reviews. It is already No. 2 on Trip Advisor restaurants for Chiang Mai!
Well we weren’t let down! We were greeted at the front door by David and his wife Prom. David had prepared a set menu at 500 baht, including 7% VAT and 10% service charge. Excellent value for a restaurant of that standard.
Toy ordered the tomato soup, duck, and coconut ice cream, while I ordered pumpkin soup, park chop, and mango ice cream.
Both were delicious! The food was everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly. We were certainly made to feel comfortable. The chef, and partner of the business, has worked at Farang Ses restaurant at the Dhara Dhevi Hotel and also at Le Crystal.. pretty impressive credentials.
Another delghtful Dining Out experience in Chiang Mai.
I recieved the following email this morning. Great PR!
