Outside the Paak Dang

Last night the Dining Out Group ate at the Paak Dang (Spicy Mouth) restaurant A small group of 7 of us enjoyed authentic Thai food even though the proprietor of the restaurant is Singaporean and the clientele consisted mainly of Chinese expats and Chinese tourists. Very few customers seemed to beThais. The restaurant was very busy but despite this the staff were very welcoming and attentive.

It is located on Sing Kham Rd in a pleasant setting on the banks of the Ping River

After a starter of dried beef, I ordered duck leg in tamarind sauce while Toy ordered seafood in a coconut. The beef was delicious. After I removed the fresh Thai celery and the slices chillies from my food, the duck was fine, Toy enjoyed his seafood.

A very succesful Dining Out function. Thanks for the photos Nop.
