The Front Yard

We live in a comfortable three bedroom huse in San Klang villge, a little outside the city, quite close to the Promeada Shopping Mall.

Chiangmai is about 700 kms north of Bangkok. The Myanmar border at Mae Sai is a further 180 kms to the north. Chiang MaiĀ  is regarded as the principal city of the northern region and is the capital of the province of the same name. Situated on the Ping River, the city is surrounded by Thailand’s highest mountains with stunning natural beauty.

Chiang Mai was founded more than 700 years ago as the capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom.
